Montgomery’s Fall Brawl Highlights Mid-September Race Weekend in Alabama

Prattville, Alabama (September 17, 2026) — As summer comes to a close, the racing action is still heating up all across Alabama.

This story will highlight all the action taking place across the Yellowhammer State this weekend (September 19-20).

Montgomery Motor Speedway (Montgomery, Al)

Fall Brawl: Saturday, September 19

One of the biggest shows of the year at Alabama’s House of Speed takes place this weekend. The Fall Brawl will be headlined by a 100-lapper for the Show Me The Money Pro Late Models, with the race also serving as the points finale for the Modifieds of Mayhem Tour. Street Stocks and Late Model Sportsmen will also compete.

Buckshot Speedway (Clanton, Al)

Weekly Racing: Saturday, September 19

Racing returns to Buckshot Speedway this weekend with a full lineup of local racing. The speedway announced via social media that all of the track’s classes will take part in the action this weekend.

Deep South Speedway (Loxley, Al)

Weekly Racing: Saturday, September 19

Likewise for Loxley’s Deep South Speedway, this weekend will serve as another round of weekly racing. Divisions participating in the action include 604 Late Models, Open-Wheel Modifieds, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Stingers.

East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Al)

54th Annual Alabama State Championships: September 19-20

It’s time for one of the biggest races of the year at East Alabama Motor Speedway: the 54th Annual Alabama State Championships. With feature racing spanning across both Saturday and Sunday, there’ll be action from a plethora of divisions. CRUSA 604 Late Models, 602 Late Models, Limited Late Models, Hobby, Road Warriors, Factory Stocks, Modifieds, Crown Vics, and Hot Shots will all be participating.

Fort Payne Motor Speedway (Fyffe, Al)

Weekly Racing: Saturday, September 19

Another program of weekly racing makes its way to Fort Payne Motor Speedway this Saturday, with this event serving as awards night for the points champions in each class. B-Hobby, Bombers, Pony, Econo, 604 Late Models, Open-Wheel Modifieds, 602 Late Models, Limited Late Models, and FWD classes will all compete.

Huntsville Speedway (Huntsville, Al)

Championship Night Part 2: Saturday, September 19

Following an unfortunate rainout last weekend, racing is back at Huntsville Speedway for the last Championship Night of the season. Six different racing divisions will participate in Saturday’s festivities: Open-Wheel Modifieds, Super Stocks, Buzz, Pure Stocks, Sportsmen, and Hot Shots.

Mobile International Speedway (Irvington, Al)

Weekly Racing: Saturday, September 19

Another weekend of action down on the Gulf Coast is set to take place at Mobile International Speedway. Pro Late Models, Sprint Cars, Pro Trucks, Street Stocks, and Pure Stocks will all compete.

North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Al)

AMA Vintage Nationals: Saturday, September 19

This weekend’s racing lineup looks a little bit different for patrons of North Alabama Speedway. The AMA-sanctioned Vintage Nationals motorcycle event will take place on Saturday, featuring several different classes of vintage motorcycle competition.

Outlaw Speedway (Jasper, Al)

Weekly Racing: Saturday, September 19

This weekend’s rendition of weekly racing at Jasper’s Outlaw Speedway will include a special feature event. If eight or more Street Stocks show, their feature event will pay $750 to win. Other divisions competing this weekend include Open-Wheel Modifieds, Mini Mod, Super Buzz, Crown Stocks, Hot Shots, Road Runners, and Young Guns.

South Alabama Speedway (Kinston, Al)

Championship Night: Saturday, September 19

The final points-paying event of the season at South Alabama Speedway is shaping up to take place this Saturday. Super Stocks, Modifieds, Road Runners, Coyotes, Crown Vics, Mini Sportsmen, and Mini Cups will all compete for end-of-season glory under the lights on Saturday night.

West Alabama Speedway (Winfield, Al)

Weekly Racing: Saturday, September 19

Another full lineup of weekly racing will take place this Saturday at West Alabama Speedway in Winfield. Limited Late Models, 602 Late Models, Open-Wheel Modifieds, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, Mini Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Hot Shots will all take part in the action this weekend.
